I wanted to point you guys in the direction of my brand-new shiny youtube channel.
I learnt to crochet from youtube and found it really confusing at times because of the US/UK terminology divide. So I decided to give something back and to publish some simple tutorials that are very clear about which stitch I am using and what it is called here and across the pond. They are short snippets that use my teaching experience to get across the main points of each stitch or technique.
They take a reasonable amount of time to plan and record (although I am trying not to be too precious about rerecording them if I stutter or stumble) so it will take time to build up the collection and I am starting at the basics and building my way up.
I'm hoping it will be a good resource for teaching people any unusual techniques I might want to use in pattterns.
I hope you'll find them useful to learn from and to refresh your memory when you've got in a muddle
Kind of a Things I Didn't Know Tuesday post (if you stretch the meaning of it to its maximum I guess)
