Posy

This weekend I treated myself to a small bunch of flowers for the purposes of practicing something we were shown at WI, a hand tied bouquet.

This small bunch probably qualifies as a posy more than a bouquet but I enjoyed putting it together.

I definitely need more practice but it looks an awful lot nicer than my usual trim-off-anything-under-the-water -and-fling-it-at-a-vase school of flower arranging!

Ideally I will practice this a bit and then be able to make those pretty bouquets that come in their own cellophane vases for friends and family - thats the idea anyway.
